ESI Fellowes approached Webb to reimagine their premium ergonomic monitor arm offering. With monitors continuing to grow, the system had to support increased dimensional and weight-bearing requirements. Reduction is the primary focus, every part serving a purpose with nothing superficial. The arm embodies a calm, muted presence, with CMF carefully developed for a seamless read across mixed materials.

In close collaboration with manufacturing partners, every detail of the internal mechanics is refined, resulting in a uniquely engineered weight-compensating gas spring mechanism. Delivering smooth, consistent, touch sensitive movement without compromise.

Kata is a modular system supporting one to six arms, intuitively designed for streamlined setup and reconfigurability across large installations. The entire assembly requires just one tool, and there are no visible fixings except for an adjustable gauge – developed to further ease installation across a floorplate. As monitors are the most frequently changed component, a toolless, removable VESA mount allows for instant replacement.

Client testimonial

I’ve had the privilege of working with Webb for the last 15 years. It’s important they win awards with their/our designs, and everyone loves that, but they also design for manufacturability and volume. They are not only an organisation I would recommend, but one that I will use again. The best!
