Sail’s inspiration has nautical roots. Like ships harness wind, it absorbs sound to enhance acoustic comfort. The solid wood mast and base reflect traditional craft techniques, off which varying screens provide a soft dynamic landscape for visual privacy. Scale was carefully considered to function between two recognised typologies; mobile screens and microarchitecture. Sail defines spaces, balancing visual lightness with a grounded presence; resulting in a flexible mobile screen designed to be reconfigurable and functionally universal.
